“HANDCUFFS is a short film based on a real couple I’ve once saw in a restaurant. It was shot in one of my favourite cocktail bars of Barcelona, Coppelia, with the camera of Carolina de Sentis and the photography of Gustavo López Mañas. It has been awarded in several festivals and it has a sequel called Room 33, where I directed again the couple in this short film, Paco Roca and Natalia Paris. Here you can also watch the making of.”
Erica Lust is a female director, writer and producer who makes erotic films that appeal to women. She saw a void for women’s voices in a male-driven mainstream porn industry and set out to show something new – and to change things.
